How to activate Idea internet on my Android 4.0 & above smartphone?
Steps to activate internet on your Android 4.0 smartphone:
1. Go to Settings
2. Choose More
3. Choose Mobile Networks
4. Choose Access Point Names
5. Press Menu Button
6. Tap on NEW APN
7. Tap on NAME: Enter Idea Connect & Press OK
8. Tap on APN: Enter internet & press OK
9. Tap on APN Type: Enter Default and Tap on OK
10. Tap on Server: Enter www.google.com and Press OK
11. Tap on Authentication Type: Tap on None
12. Tap on Bearer: Tap On Unspecified
13. Press Menu: Tap on Save
14. Tap on Idea Connect Profile to make it default
15. Tap on Back
16. Tap on Back (Repeat)
17. Tap on Back (Repeat to get to home screen of your phone)
Note : After changing this settings its always better to restart your phone to avoid any conflict in the settings.
